MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
Monday, September 17th, 2012 @ 6:30 pm

PRESENT: Debra Arrieta, Florence Schroeter, Rose Tavtigian, Anthony Foran, Gloria Visgilio-Lupi, Pat Jones, Librarian, and Charles Casella
ABSENCES: None
Guests: Mayor Marcia Leclerc, Mary Martin, Bruce Tuthill and Peter Wells
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the August 20th, 2012 meeting were approved.
LIBRARIAN’S REPORT
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
The Chairman reported that Lisa McMahon has resigned.
OLD BUSINESS
Mary Martin, Project Administrator for the Raymond Library Addition Project, updated the Library Commission on the progress of the expansion project and the Rotarian’s efforts to secure an updated bookmobile.
NEW BUSINESS
Prior to the Commission, the Architects, the Mayor and the Project Administrator conducted a public hearing and presentation of the Library Expansion Project. The hearing was well attended and a question and answer period was held.
Members of the Library Commission had a question and answer session with the Architects.
